Change in bus routes and timings
— March 28, 2023 0 45515th March 2023 marked one year of ELCITA’s free shuttle bus service between Electronics City Industrial Township and the Silk Institute Metro Station on Kanakapura road. Owing to the popularity of this service it has been decided to continue this service till March 2024 or the commencement of Yellow Line Metro Services to Electronics City, whichever is earlier.
Please note the following: –
- This service will be for employees working in Electronics City Industrial Township only. Please show your company ID card to the driver/security guard.
- This service is a Metro feeder service for employees working in Electronics City Industrial Township. There will be no stops in between. On the service from Electronics City to Silk Institute, the only stop for deboarding will be at the Silk Institute Metro Station. On the return service, the buses will drop off employees at various points within Electronics City Industrial Township. There will be no other stops enroute.
- To cut down commute time, the buses will use the NICE road only in both directions. Employees are free to use these services in either direction.
- Of the four evening schedules from Electronics City, two would originate from the East Phase and two from the West Phase. Details of the routes are given hereunder.
- New schedules would be effective April 1, 2023.
