If you’re associated with Electronic City, either for work or residence or education, you must’ve noticed that metro rail along Hosur Road is taking shape. Construction is well and truly underway for this development. Metro will transform our commute and decongest Bangalore, if and only if each one of us is incentivized to use the metro for our daily commute.

From the commuters’ perspective, the service should offer safe, quick, comfortable, and affordable rides. Along with the metro, what is needed is a combination of good connectivity to and from the metro station. Such a combination will result in switching from your current mode to multi-modal options.

ELCITA is conducting this survey to plan and manage mobility needs with localized solutions for immediate, mid-term, and long-term measures. We are identifying ways to integrate the mobility services with the metro rail, designing and operating the shared mobility services in an efficient way that will help in managing the city effectively.

COVID-19 has disrupted the way we lead our lives and for many, it has also brought a pause in our day-to-day travel. Let’s be hopeful that in the next few months the situation will surely bounce back to normal and we will travel as usual.
