Electronics City Industrial Township Authority
Electronics City is home to top industries in the Electronics, Technology and Software space. One of our foremost duties is to provide a safe and secure environment for our members and we have taken many steps to ensure that.
A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and a Quick Reaction Team is deployed at e-city. CISF also helps trains security personnel from the companies. ELCITA and industry teams are trained in fire fighting and fire prevention.
In a first, a mock exercise on terrorism-related disasters was organized last year at Electronic City by State Disaster Management Authority, Gok, in collaboration with National Disaster Management Authority (Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI), Garuda Force (Counter Terrorism Team of Karnataka Police), National Disaster Response Force, Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services, Karnataka Police Bomb Disposal Team, Bangalore District Medical Team, CISF, and ELCITA Security participated in the exercise. This combined exercise with the coordination of all agencies will be a great help in dealing with any crisis and disaster management at e-city.
A few months ago, we were part of an interactive session to discuss Anti-Terrorism measures and Cyber Security by Police Centre for Counter-Terrorism, GoK, and Cyber-crime at Data Security Council of India (DSCI). We had also organized a workshop on Cyber Crimes, Cyber Security and Data Protection.
They say emergency preparedness is a team sport. We request all e-city industries and employees to be vigilant and work with us to ensure safety and security are always a top priority.
