1. Application Period:

The deadline for submission of applications is 31th May 2025.

2. Awards

a. Awards for Overall Excellence in managing Sustainability

• Gold Award
• Silver Award

b. Awards for Excellence in various aspects of Sustainability

• Water – Water Neutrality / Water Positive, Water Conservation, Wastewater Management, and Rainwater Harvesting
• Waste – Solid Waste and Organic Waste Management
• Energy – Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Initiatives
• Air Quality – Initiatives to reduce air pollution and GHG Emissions
• Biodiversity Preservation
• Sustainable Buildings – Green Infrastructure and Certifications
• Sustainability Reporting and Data Transparency
• Net Zero/Carbon Neutral Initiatives

3. Award Categories:

There are five Award categories

Category 1. Large Companies with more than 1000 Employees in the IT and IT- enabled services domain.

Category 2. Medium and Small companies are those with less than 1000 employees in the IT and IT- enabled services domain.

Category 3. Educational (Colleges & Universities), Hospitality (3-5 star hotels) and Research organizations.

Category 4. Healthcare (Hospitals) and Pharmaceutical Sector.

Category 5. Government and Public Service Entities: Municipal corporations and ULB’s, Police Stations, Fire service stations, Power distribution companies, Water distribution companies and Waste Management companies.

4. Application Fee:

1. Application fee – Rs. 10,000/- per application.

2. No application fee for Government and Public Service Entities.

5. Evaluation Process:

The evaluation process comprises of two stages:

• Stage 1: Evaluation of the ELCITA questionnaire – Applicants must score a minimum of 60% to be shortlisted for Stage 2.
• Stage 2: Those who are shortlisted for stage 2 will be required to present their case.

Submissions and presentations will be evaluated by a panel of sustainability experts, who will assess the impact, effectiveness, and innovation of the initiatives.
