Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Manager – Town Planning.
Location: Electronics City, Bengaluru
Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) is seeking a dynamic professional to lead urban and infrastructure planning for one of India’s premier industrial hubs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement master plans, zoning, and land use policies.
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, amenities, mobility).
- Ensure compliance with town planning and environmental regulations.
- Integrate sustainability, smart city concepts, and ESG initiatives.
- Engage with industries, institutions, consultants, and authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Town Planning / Urban Planning / Architecture / Civil Engineering (planning specialization preferred).
- 8–12 years’ experience in urban/town planning, preferably in industrial townships or smart city projects.
- Proficiency in GIS / AutoCAD and knowledge of planning regulations.
- Experience in in the areas of building plan approvals & license, and commencement, completion & building occupancy certificates.
- Working knowledge of Karnataka Municipalities Act, 1964; Karnataka Town & Country Planning Act, 1961; and byelaws of Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).
- Fluency in reading, writing & speaking of Kannada and English is essential.
