NOTICE: AUCTION SALE OF USED VEHICLE
The Office of Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) invites auction bids for the sale of used vehicle in running condition, parked at # 7 (P) ELCIA Complex, Electronics City West Phase Bangalore – 560100, as per details provided below.
1. AUCTION SCHEDULE
a) Publishing document in website: 30-03-2025
b) Availability of documents in website: 30-03-2025 onwards.
c) Inspection of used vehicle: Up to 07-04-2025 (on working days from 10 AM to 4 PM)
d) Last date for submission of auction documents 10-04-2025 up to 05:00 PM
e) Opening of auction documents/ Auction bidding date & time: 15-04-2025 (11:30 AM)

2. Sealed bids are invited for purchase of the said vehicle on the terms and conditions given below. Persons/firms, interested in purchasing the above-mentioned vehicle, may submit their highest bids in the enclosed proforma in a sealed cover addressed to the Chief Administrative & Security Officer, ELCITA, # 7 (P) ELCIA Complex, Electronics City West Phase Bangalore – 560100. The bidders or their representatives, not more than one for each bid, may be present, if they so desire, at the time of opening of bids. The cover should be prominently superscripted with the words “Bid for purchase of used vehicle.”
3. The vehicle will be available for inspection between 31st Mar 2025 and 07-Apr-2025 from 10 AM to 4 PM in the presence of Mr. Srinivas RN (9886039113).
4. The auction of the said vehicle will be governed by the following conditions: –
a. The vehicle and its fitments will be auctioned in one lot.
b. The vehicle will be sold on “As is where is basis” The auction process will be conducted in presence of Disposal of Goods Committee.
c. The bidders are required to pay Earnest Money of Rs 50,000/- along with Bid.
d. Earnest money is payable by means of a demand draft drawn in favor of Electronics City Industrial Township Authority. (Payment by cheque or cash shall not be accepted)
e. Bids received without demand draft towards earnest money will not be considered and shall be rejected.
f. The demand draft towards Earnest money deposit of the successful bidder will be deposited by Electronics City Industrial Township Authority within two working days of the acceptance of bid.
g. The Earnest money of successful bidder will be adjusted against the bid amount and will be forfeited, if he fails to honour the bid within 15days. In case of failure to deposit the final bidding amount, the respective vehicle may be offered to the next highest bidder or be taken up for re-auction.
h. The delivery of the auctioned vehicles will be arranged only after the successful bidder submits documentary evidence in support of residential status (PAN card, Aadhar card etc. in case of individual and registration certificate etc. in case of firms).
j. The auctioned vehicle will be removed by the successful bidder within 02 working days of depositing the bid amount, at their own expense.
k. The vehicle will be disposed off on “as is where is basis” and no guarantee for its worthiness or quality will be given by this Department.
l. This department will not owe any responsibility for transfer of vehicle and for any other liability for using these vehicles for commercial or any other purpose after sale.
m. The successful bidder will also be responsible for getting Registration certificate of the vehicles and/or any other documents as required by the RTO, in his name at his own cost expeditiously and submit a copy of the same to this office. This office will not be responsible for any lapse on his part in this regard.
n. If, the successful bidder wants to scrap the vehicle, then he would have to submit the cut part of the chassis number to this office immediately.
o. The bidders will not be allowed to withdraw their bids and if they do so their earnest money will be forfeited.
p. Demand drafts of unsuccessful bidder will be returned within 30 working days after the auction.
q. The bid amount excluding GST, as GST is to be paid by the recipient of the goods as per the rates applicable.
r. ELCITA reserves the right to accept or reject any/all of the quotations without assigning any reason.
